Department of Marketing research seminar on September 16th
Scholars from three European universities will be presenting in the first seminar of the fall.

The research seminar series of academic year 2016 in the Department of Marketing will begin on September 16th. The seminar has scholars presenting their work from University of Augsburg, TU Dortmund University, Stockholm University and, of course, Aalto University.
The first presentation is held by Michael Paul (University of Augsburg) titled “Internet Kills the Physical Store!? Testing a Contingency Framework on the Financial Performance of Multichannel versus Pure-Play Strategies”. The second presentation titled “Motive Dispersion” is held by Tobias Schaefers (TU Dortmund) and Tomas Falk (Aalto). Last but not least, there will be a presentation by Joel Hietanen (Stockholm University), Antti Sihvonen (Aalto), John Schouten (Aalto), Sammy Toyoki (Aalto) and Pekka Mattila (Aalto), which is titled “Tribal Retail Place-ness: A Study Spatial Production in the Context of Restaurant Day”.
